Clarke School for Hearing and Speech provides children who are deaf or hard of hearing with the listening, learning and spoken language skills they need to succeed. To strengthened their students’ STEM skills, Embraer employees installed a Magnet Wall purchased with the grant funds. The Magnet Wall is a unique platform for expanding creative play in the classroom. Kids can explore slopes, cause & effect, momentum and gravity through hands on experimentation. The Codecraft Foundation provides financial aid to help students who wouldn’t otherwise be able to participate in Codecraft Works’ program – an educational technology company powering a blended learning approach to computer science, engineering, and cybersecurity curriculum for students and educators. The PPG provided scholarships for 80 low-income students to participate in ongoing STEM related after-school programs, labs and clubs. The scholarship recipients received a cumulative 484 hours of access to an online learning platform and instruction from community mentors over the course of the performance period. Melbourne, FL.
